  • Toasted sesame oil1 tbsp
  • Gingera thumb, cut into matchsticks
  • Garlic clovestwo, sliced

Method

  1. Halve the bok choy lengthwise and rinse out any grit between the leaves, then shake dry.
  2. Heat the sesame oil in a wide pan over medium-high heat and lay the halves in cut side down.
  3. After 2 minutes add the ginger, garlic and a tablespoon of water, cover, and steam for 2 minutes more.
  4. Uncover, add the tamari and toss.
